I want to give a big thank you to all those involved in our summer basketball program…thanks to our players for your commitment and participation…thanks to our parents for all your help and support, especially those who were a part of team camp…thanks to our coaches, especially Coach Uhrin and Coach Lovat, for being so giving with your time.

Enjoy some family time for the remainder of the summer and have a nice start to the school year.

Tryouts for all three teams begin on November 8. In order to try out, you must have a physical dated after April 15, 2010. All three teams will practice during the Christmas break, though we will take some time off. Each team will determine its off days. We’ll have a scrimmage for all three teams during the holiday break, most likely on December 28.

Those attending the Gaylord Varsity camp will meet at Mercy on Sunday, at 3:00pm, to make the trip to Gaylord.

Coach Uhrin and those attending the Gaylord JV Camp will meet at Mercy on Sunday, at 6:00pm, to make the trip to Gaylord.

If you plan on coming to watch the games at East Lansing on Saturday, it is suggested you bring a portable chair, as seating may be limited.

The 10th/9th shootout at East Lansing H.S. on Saturday, June 26, has been cancelled. However, the 12th/11th shootout is still a go. It will run from 9am-12:30, at East Lansing H.S., located at 509 Burcham Dr, East Lansing, 48823.

More specific information on the U-M shootout is now posted on the practice schedule link, as is the July schedule (scroll though the July schedule to get to the June schedule). Also, our game schedule for next season is now posted on the game schedule link.

Please check the practice schedule link for game time info on the U-M shootout. More specific times will be posted as soon as we get the exact schedule, but each team will play 3 games on Friday. Also, we’d like all incoming freshmen to come to the 7:00-9:00pm practice on Monday, and the 5:00-7:00 practice on Tuesday. Then, beginning on Wednesday, some players from the 10th/9th group will practice with the 12th/11th group.
